Guide Dogs Queensland is a charity that has been empowering and supporting people who are blind or have low vision for over 60 years. At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to putting clients and their families first. We understand that no two journeys are the same, so we work closely with Queenslanders of all ages and at all levels of vision loss to provide tailored services that meet their individual needs.

Every year, we deliver more than 900 programs to people with vision loss and blindness, including our iconic guide dogs. It takes an incredible amount of time, love, energy and funds to help these pups reach their full potential. From their birth at our Guide Dogs nursery, and through their 2 years of training, it costs more than $50,000 to transform each gorgeous pup into a life-changing guide dog.

The generosity and compassion of the community helps to fund 85% of the services that Queenslanders living with low vision and blindness need to live the lives they choose. With your support, we can continue to provide freedom and independence to people living with vision loss.
