Who are we?
EPIC is a leading not-for-profit organisation which has been operating for over 25 years, assisting people with disability to prepare for, find and maintain meaningful employment. EPIC also delivers education and training, and provides services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
EPIC’s Business Assist division employ bookkeepers with disability to take care of business’ bookkeeping needs. All work is supervised, reviewed and signed off by an accredited accountant before being submitted back to you, meaning you’ll always receive a quality, comprehensive service.
What can we do for you?
We can help you say goodbye to the stress of bookkeeping. Most business owners would categorise ‘doing the books’ as a thankless task which takes them away from where they’d rather be. They submit their BAS, but can never really rest easy because they know it will just be back again in three months.
Luckily, there’s an alternative. One that can not only help you reclaim your free time but also help level the employment playing field for people with disability.
EPIC can help with:
- BAS preparation and lodgement
- Bank reconciliations
- Invoicing, accounts receivable and payable
- Payroll, employee processing and wage summaries
- Profit/loss monthly reports
- General ledger entries and reconciliations
- Outstanding debtors/creditors analysis
- Database management
What do our customers say?
“I tried my own bookkeeping and it was very difficult to do. I had no idea how much my customers owed me so I was just writing off hundreds of dollars. I was just throwing cash out the window. But since I’ve started using EPIC Business Assist, I now have the time, money and energy to dedicate to growing my business. I think there’s nothing to lose, and everything to gain.” – Gerald McMillan, Director- Garage Training
“It’s nice knowing you are helping somebody that otherwise may not be able to get a job. And it makes you feel very confident knowing there won’t be any mistakes because they’re so thorough” – Lesley Strong, Owner- Fleur De Passion Florist
“I would get to the end of the quarter and have to do three months of accounts. That’s not a fun way to operate- it’s really stressful. If I had my accountant do my BAS, it would have cost me about $280 but at EPIC Business Assist it was $140. I’m incredibly glad I made the decision [to use EPIC Business Assist]; my other work is stressful but with my accounts, there’s no anxiety at all anymore. It’s great”- Derek Lancashire, Owner- Bravo Productions
