Sean has just completed a 12-month contract with Gadens, one of Queensland’s leading law firms. In this role was the Chief Executive office and responsible for some 300 staff.  Sean recently sold his company Stardbroke capital to his fellow directors.

He is known for his hands on approach and his extensive knowledge of the Queensland business environment. Prior to Stradbroke Capital, Sean had an extensive leadership career across all media forms.  He was State Director of News Corporation Qld.

Previously, he worked for dmg radio, leading 23 radio stations across Queensland, before creating the successful Nova 106.9 business.

Sean was with the Win television network for 14 years, holding various national positions including, Group Marketing Manager, Station Manager and led many projects from digital businesses, helicopter charter businesses to establishing the WA broadcast network.

Sean is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  Sean was a member of the current and the previous Premiers Business Council, The Queensland Futures Institute and the Valley Chamber of Commerce .

He was a former Chairman of the Brisbane Sister Cities, a Director of Brisbane Marketing, Brisbane Festival, Queensland Music Festival, Deputy Chairman of Variety Queensland and a Director of Starlight Children’s Foundation Qld and City Smart.

Sean is highly committed to community engagement and is passionate about Queensland. Sean  was awarded an Humanitarian award by the Queensland Institute of Medical Research for his fundraising.

Recently Sean along with two fellow Directors joined in launching two new companies.  New Breed co and New Breed recruitment specialising in Legal and Professional services recruitment.  Sean’s private company has recently purchased the Samford Golf course along with another partner and is working with the community on the future of the area.
