‘In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.’ Theodore Roosevelt.

The worst thing you can do is nothing.

Yet as business owners and leaders this is exactly what we often default to when someone in our team is not performing, or even worse, is disruptive and toxic to the rest of the team.

We know the cost to our business. We know and can clearly see the impact on the people around them. We get that it is not good for anyone – including the lifeblood of any business, customers.

And yet we continue to tolerate them.

Sometimes it is fear – we’re operating under the ‘better the devil you know’ strategy.

Sometimes it is fear – of making the wrong steps and having to defend a Fair Work Claim.

And other times it is fear – because we don’t know how to have the difficult conversation successfully.

On May 31, in the second Akyra Signature Series Workshop, you will be guided I will guide you through:

  • How to understand The ‘rules’ of Fair Work and play them to your advantage
  • Eliminating the myths to reclaim a position of strength in managing your people
  • The principles in creating a team where the disruptive, toxic and under-performing choose to leave
  • Identifying the tipping point – when the pain of keeping someone is greater than removing them
  • The best way to prepare for and facilitate difficult conversations which drive a defined outcome

I think this needs to be the next workshop… and then the one after that will be personal development conversations as to topic

With very practical, hands-on advice and strategies, this workshop will show you a very clear way to so that you can start eliminate the misfits and hold the people you really need want on your team… turning up to work every day with their sleeves rolled up ready to start.

Your enrolment includes the workshop, refreshments, and a light working lunch.

We are also pleased to confirm a discount for Valley Chamber of Commerce Members of $20.00 per ticket, bringing the full ticket price down to $77.00, and that code is CHAMBER.
