Temporary road closures and changes to parking arrangements for Anzac Day Commemorations.

The Anzac Day Parade Brisbane Committee would like to take this opportunity to notify the following temporary road closures and temporary changes to parking arrangements for Anzac Day commemorations on Saturday 25 April 2020.

Local access or exit will not be maintained for residents and businesses, including no access to or from off-street car parking facilities between 2am to 3pm.

Road closures
The following roads will be closed from 2am to 5am for the Dawn Service in Anzac Square:
 full closure of Adelaide Street, between North Quay and Wharf Street
 full closure of Ann Street, between Edward Street and Creek Street
 full closure of Edward Street, between Ann Street and Queen Street

The following roads will be closed from 4am to 3pm for the parade:
 full closure of Adelaide Street, between North Quay and Wharf Street (& lane)
 full closure of Albert Street, between Adelaide Street and Mary Street
 full closure of Burnett Lane between George Street and Albert Street
 full closure of Charlotte Street, between George Street and Creek Street (& lane)
 full closure of Creek Street, between Ann Street and Elizabeth Street
 full closure of Eagle Lane, between Queen Street and Creek Street
 full closure of Edward Street, between Ann Street and Mary Street
 full closure of Elizabeth Street off ramp, from the Riverside Expressway
 full closure of Elizabeth Street, between William Street and Creek Street
 full closure of George Street, between Ann Street and Margaret Street
 full closure of Market Street, between Charlotte Street and Mary Street.
 Mary Street, no access to George Street
 North Quay, at the Victoria Bridge intersection
 Queen Street, between William Street and Wharf Street
 Victoria Bridge inbound will be closed, outbound traffic via North Quay will be maintained
 William Street, between North Quay and Stephens Lane

The following lanes will be closed or restricted access from 4am to 3pm:
 Eagle Lane
 Edison Lane
 Ely/Faber/Griffin Lanes
 Hutton Lane
 Stephens Lane

Changed parking conditions
Temporary changes to parking signage will commence from 7.00pm on Friday 24 April 2019 and will be reinstated by 11.59pm on Saturday 25 April 2020.

The following locations will become tow away zones to assist in the road closures associated with Anzac Day:
 Adelaide Street, between North Quay and Wharf Street
 Albert Street, between Adelaide Street and Mary Street
 Ann Street, between George Street and Wharf Street
 Burnett Lane, between George Street and Albert Street
 Charlotte Street, between George Street and Creek Street
 Creek Street, between Ann Street and Charlotte Street
 Eagle Lane, between Queen Street and Creek Street
 Edward Street, between Ann Street and Mary Street
 Elizabeth Street, between William Street and Creek Street
 George Street, between Ann Street and Alice Street
 Mary Street, between George Street and Albert Street
 Queen Street, between William Street and Wharf Street
 William Street, between North Quay and Stephens Lane

Queensland Police will hold traffic at the intersection of Charlotte Street and Eagle Street for short intervals during the parade.

The King George Square car park will be accessible from the Roma Street entry/exit.
